Suzuki Motorcycle India has just launched the new BS6 Suzuki Hayabusa sports bike. Hayabusa has a separate fanbase from the beginning. Suzuki Hayabusa Engine and Brakes
The new model of Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a big and muscular 1340cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder 4-valves/cylinder DOHC engine which generates a massive peak power of 187.3 BHP at 9700 rpm and a peak torque of 150 Nm at 7000 rpm. The geartrain of this sportbike is a 6-speed manual gearbox with a wet multi-plate type slipper clutch system and an electronic fuel injection system.
On the front wheel, a Brembo Stylema 4-piston twin disc has been added for quick braking while on the rear wheel Nissin single-piston single-disc has been used in this sports bike. Hayabusa is enabled with the dual-channel ABS as a standard.
New Hayabusa includes a lot of modern features under the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) like an inertial measurement unit to monitor pitch or roll, a power mode selector for a great all-terrain response, an anti-lift control system to control the vehicle front wheel from lifting no matter what was the situation or acceleration, bi-directional quick shift system, engine brake control system and traction control system.
Apart from the Suzuki SIRS system, the other features are the launch control system, slope-dependent control system, active speed limiter, motion track brake system, hill hold control system and cruise control system.
Suzuki Hayabusa Tyre and Suspension
Suzuki Motorcycle has used a 120mm wide tubeless tyre in the front wheel and a 190mm wide 17-inch tubeless racing-inspired tyre in the rear wheel of the Hayabusa.
The front suspension is an inverted telescopic type with the coil spring and oil damped system and the rear suspension is a link type with coil spring and damped oil also.

If we talk about its dimensions then the first thing that comes in the mind is ground clearance and wheelbase. New Suzuki Hyabusa comes with a 125mm ground clearance and 1480mm wheelbase. The seat height and length o this sports bike are 800mm and 2180mm respectively. Overall width and the height of the bike are 735mm and 1165mm respectively.
The kerb weight of Hayabusa is 266 kg and the fuel tank capacity is 20 liters. The 266 kg weight of a 1340cc bike was tough to manage. Thanks to the new generation twin-spar aluminum frame which is light in weight with great strength. The top speed of this sports bike is 300 kmph.

All the lighthouse is now updated with LED lighthouse. Headlamps, turn signals and taillight are embedded with LED lights. The instrument cluster is a combination of analog and digital technology.
