The new Volkswagen Taigun SUV has launched in India on the date of 23rd September 2021. VW Taigun is offered in the 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI petrol engines. Volkswagen Taigun SUV is loaded with smart features like ventilated seats, smart touch climatronic AC, Keyless entry, paddle shifts and first-in-segment infinity LED tail lamps at an affordable price of Rs. 10.49 Lakhs.

Volkswagen Taigun Engine and Specifications
New Taigun is powered by two engine options which are 1.0L and 1.5L TSI petrol engines. The 3 cylinder 999cc (or 1.0L) TSI petrol engine generates 115 PS (85KW) maximum power at 5000-5500 rpm and the maximum torque of 178 Nm at 1750-4500 rpm. The 1.0L TSI engine comes in 6-speed manual and automatic gear options.
The 4 cylinder 1498cc (or 1.5L) TSI petrol engine generates 150 PS (110KW) maximum power at 5000-6000 rpm and the maximum torque of 250 Nm at 1600-3500 rpm. The 1.5L TSI engine comes in the 6-speed manual and 7 speed DSG gear options. VW has managed a 5.05m turning radius of the Taigun.
The word TSI stands for the Turbocharged Stratified Injection, TSI engine is known for the high torque at lower rpm that means the TSI engine offers more power with a greater fuel efficiency compared to the conventional engines. TSI engine is optimized by the Direct Fuel Injection (FSI) and a turbocharger.
