BMW C 400 GT 350cc mid-size maxi-scooter launched in India

BMW Motorrad India has launched its mid-size maxi-scooter BMW C 400 GT in India. BMW C 400 GT is a 350cc scooter specially built for the city as well as long route traveling with all modern features. This scooter is powered by a single-cylinder water-cooled IC engine and the instrument cluster is all digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and on-screen navigation. BMW Motorrad has used a 350cc water-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke 4-valve per cylinder engine in the C 400 GT scooter which generates a peak power of 34 hp at 7500 rpm and the peak torque of 35 Nm at 6000 rpm. This mid-size maxi-scooter is designed to provide the best possible mileage in the urban ride and great comfort during the long tours.

BMW C 400 GT is made on the steel tube construction with an aluminum die-cast unit and stepless CVT gearbox unit is introduced for smooth engine power transmission. Automatic stability control (ASC) is given as a safety standard. 

C 400 GT is decorated by the all-LED lighthouse with LED daytime running lights on the front side. The integrated turn indicators provide a unique presence to this run machine. The slick design and aggressive look will lead this scooter to a game-changer in the Indian two-wheeler market. India is the world's largest two-wheeler market and BMW is growing cleverly here by introducing affordable two-wheelers like BMW G 310R in collaboration with TVS Motor.

A BMW standard all digital colorful 6.5-inch high-resolution TFT display has been offered with C 400 GT scooter which enables Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation via multi-controller on the handlebars, music play, phone calls through handlebar multi-controller and mobile charging via USB connectivity.           

BMW claims a vibration-free ride with better handling and control because of BMW Motorrad ABS and automatic stability control which prevents the spinning of the rear wheel in poor road conditions.

The seat height of the BMW C 400 GT is 775mm and the total fully fuelled weight is 212 kg. This scooter consumed 3.5-liter fuel in a 100 km ride ie it gives a mileage of 29 km/liter. Keyless engine start is a new futuristic add-on in this scooter. 

BMW C 400 GT is an efficient powerful mid-size maxi-scooter. The purchasing power of the Indian two-wheeler rider is increasing that's why the demand for a high-tech loaded powerful engine is increasing. Royal Enfield India is the king of the 350cc segment but it deals with 350cc two-wheeler motorcycles. C 400 GT is India's first 350cc scooter offered by BMW Motorrad India and it will be a game-changer in the 350cc luxury segment definitely.
