Yamaha FZX Motorcycle Launched in India at 1.16L Ex-showroom Price
Yamaha India has launched the 150cc neo-retro-inspired Yamaha FZX crossover motorcycle. It's an all-new motorcycle especially designed for the Indian roads as per the Yamaha India officials. FZX is built for a comfortable ride on all roads like on streets, on highways or on tough terrain. This crossover motorcycle is loaded with single-channel ABS, Bi-functional LED headlamp, LCD instrument screen, side-stand engine cut-off switch and Bluetooth-enabled app connectivity.

Engine & Transmission
Yamaha FZX is powered by a proven air-cooled 4-stroke 2-valve 149cc SOHC engine which is currently being used in FZ/FZS V3.0. This engine generates 12.4 PS power at 7250 rpm and a torque of 13.3 Nm at 5500 rpm. This 149cc engine of Yamaha is smooth like butter and strong like a bulletproof engine. The engine is covered by an under cowl and electronic fuel injection is used for the fuel supply to the engine.
The transmission of FZX is a 5-speed constant mesh type having wet multiple-disc clutch type. A side-stand cut-off switch function is given for the safety of the rider.
Brake, Tyres & Suspension
Yamaha FZX is powered by a single-channel ABS double disc braking system. The size of the front disc is 282mm and the rear disc is 220mm. A 100mm wide tubeless tyre used on the front side and a 140mm wide tubeless radial tyre has been used on the rear side of this motorcycle.
The front suspension is a telescopic fork type having 41mm inner tube diameter with fork boot while the rear suspension is a 7-step adjustable motocross suspension by which a rider can increase or decrease the seat height as per his convenience.
Electricals & Dimensions
The lighthouse of FZX is modern and updated, Bi-Functional LED headlamp with DRL has been given in this bike with an LED tail lamp. All turn indicators are conventional but come with an LED turn indicators option as an accessory.
A negative LCD instrument cluster with a smartphone connectivity option increases the charm of this neo-retro motorcycle. For safety purposes, a side stand engine cut-off switch has been given in this motorcycle while a USB power connectivity near the instrument cluster provides great confidence on long journeys.
The seat height of FZX is 810mm and ground clearance is 165mm. The total weight with oil and full fuel tank is 139 kg.

Yamaha FZX comes in three attractive colors which are Matt Copper, Matt Black and Metallic Blue.
The ex-showroom Delhi price of the Yamaha FZX without the Y-Connect option and with the Y-Connect option starts from 1.17 Lacs and 1.19 Lacs respectively.
