MG Cyberster Electric Sports Car concept unveiled ahead of Shanghai Motor Show
MG Motor has unveiled Cyberster electric sports car concept ahead of ''Shanghai Motor Show'' in the Shangai. MG Cyberster is a two-seater two-door futuristic electric sports car that has a front fascia based on the classic MGB car marketed between 1963 to 1995. Large slender grills, slick design and magic eye type headlamp are the main attraction points from the front side.
Major Highlights
- MG Cyberster will come with a massive range of 800 kilometers per charge
- 0-100 km/hr in less than 3 seconds
- Loaded with intelligent driving feature with 5G interconnectivity
MG has used the classic round-shaped headlamp design concept with modern LED lights in Cyberster and it gets open when switched on. The rear side is also appealing as the front side. MG has used a through-type LED taillight design with the turn signal lights of an arrow shape. The design of the rear side has been stimulated by well known K-tail automotive feature. In K-tail styling a downward slope used on the rear side of the car to minimize aerodynamic drag at high speed. This design style improves the range of the car.
Its world-class driver-centric digital fiber interior leads this car to a true electric sports car. A separate cockpit has been given to both driver and co-driver and the infotainment system in front of the driver is a large-sized LED with a second full touch central screen. Cuberster will be built on intelligent all-electric architecture with the latest module-less battery technology. This electric sports will be featured by 5G connectivity, intelligent autopilot driving ability with smart technology.
