BMW R nineT Scrambler Motorcycle comes with a twin-cylinder 1170cc boxer engine and its price in India starts from 18.5 Lakh.

BMW R nineT Scrambler Engine Specification, Top Speed and Fuel Consumption

The iconic classic-style engine of BMW R nineT is equipped with a twin-cylinder boxer type air and oil-cooled 1170cc four-stroke engine having two camshafts and four radially arranged valves per cylinder. A central counterbalance shaft is given in this scrambler motorcycle to ensure a vibration-free engine operation.

The 1170cc engine generates a maximum power of 109 hp at 7250 rpm and maximum torque of 116 Nm at 6000 rpm. The fuel is supplied by an electronic intake pipe injection system and a closed-loop 3-way catalytic converter used to follow the Bharat Stage-6 (BS6) pollution emission control norms.

It can achieve more than 200 kilometers per hour speed and the fuel consumption is 5.1 Liters per 100 kilometers. Petrol of octane number 95-98 (RON) recommended by BMW for use in this scrambler motorcycle.
