Road testing of Sony Electric Car Vision-S started in Europe
The prototype of the Sony Electric Car Vision-S has been awarded by Reddot's Best of the Best award in Design Concept 2020. Sony started road testing of the actual electric car Vision-S in Europe. Austria will be the country where this all-electric car will be tested by the Sony.
Sony Vision-S electric car first unveiled at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, Nevada in the US on 7th January 2020. On this day Sony first announced to enter the luxury electric car market to provide a safe and modern technology-based electric car to the world.

The Sony electric car Vision-S achieves 0-100 kmph (or 0-60 mph) in 4.8s and the top speed of this car is 240 kilometers per hour (149 mph). Sony Vision-S is powered by a 200 kW motor on the both front and rear sides. This electric car will be an all-wheel-drive car having a personal speaker system for all 4 seats. The weight of the car will be 2350 kilograms (5180 lbs).
For safety purposes, 40 sensors with a 360-degree angle camera view ensure world-class safety to this car. This electric car will come with auto driving, auto parking, autopilot mode with a driver fatigue condition monitoring system. Sony Vision-S will be enabled with highway assist, an advanced digital mirror system, lane change decision aids systems (LCDAS), and a panoramic screen.
The audio system of the Sony Vision-S electric car will be a world-class audio system with three-dimensional sound quality having a 360-degree audio feel. Two separate screens have been given for the rear passengers to joy the journey individually.
Sony electric car Vision-S will come with a Vision-S Link application to control the vehicle automatically like a remote. A user can start the car, adjust the seat position, temperature, and even open the door automatically when wishes to drive this car. This car will come with a personalized cabin, it will keep a record of all driving data of the individual and recommend during the driving. Sony Vision-S will be enabled with 5G connectivity.
