Royal Enfield: Initial History
George Townsend established a production unit of the sewing needle manufacturing that was the first foundation stone of the Royal Enfield. His son started cycle parts manufacturing and supply in 1886 and sold his company after getting a huge loss in 1891. In 1892, this company again started under the name of Eadie Manufacturing Company Limited. In 1896, Eadie collaborated with the new Enfield Cycle Company Limited. During this time the name of Royal Enfield finally born.
The Royal Enfield Motorcycle Company officially founded in 1901 by Albert Eadie and Robert Walker-Smith. The first-ever Royal Enfield Bullet model was manufactured in 1901 by this company at Redditch which holds the record of the longest motorcycle production run of all time which is still selling in the market currently and the demand is high even now. Earlier Royal Enfield was a manufacturer of the cycle and cycle parts.

Royal Enfield copartnered with Eicher Motors Limited of India in 1990. Eicher Group produces buses, trucks, generators, and tractors in India. In 1994, Royal Enfield fully united with Eicher Motors Limited. Royal Enfield is now a subsidiary company of the Eicher Group India.

2020 Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Launching
In 2020, Royal Enfield has launched the all-new Royal Enfield Meteor 350 cruiser motorcycle globally. Meteor 350 comes in three variants which is Fireball, Steller, and Supernova. Meteor Fireball 350 is designed for city riding and the Meteor Supernova 350 is made for pure cruising. The engine of the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is all new and vibration-free because of the presence of the less moving parts and a dynamic balancer shaft in the engine.
