Benelli Imperiale 400 is the classic retro type motorcycle built on the replica of the vintage-style motorcycles of the 1950s era.
Imperiale 400 is equipped with an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-vale, 374cc, SOHC engine. The engine of this classic motorcycle churns out 21PS of power at 6000 rpm and 29Nm torque at 3500 rpm. The fuel is supplied by the electronic fuel injection system in the Benelli Imperiale 400. The company has made this bike as per the norms of Bharat Stage (BS6) standards.
Imperiale 400 is a classic look motorcycle and loaded with all essential modern features like double disc dual-channel anti braking system (ABS) for effective braking and analogue-digital instrument cluster. The round headlamp and tail lamp seems very classy in this bike.
Benelli India has given a 19-inch spoked rim in front and 18-inch spoked rim in the rear wheel. The spoked rim gives a pure retro classic look to the Imperiale 400. Its 100mm front tyre and 130mm rear tyre misses tubeless tyre perhaps because of cost-cutting to make it more affordable and competitive.
The double-cradle chassis made it strong and comfortable for an average height of the Indian man. Ground clearance is 165mm. Benelli has been cleverly maintained the weight of this bike within 205 kg with a 374cc engine. The teardrop type fuel tank can hold 12 litres usable fuel. It could be better for its use on far-flung terrains.
